Alberta Artisans Market - A Winter's Sale

Terms and Conditions

Those who have registered as participants in the Alberta Artisans Market (AAM) A Winter's Sale 2017 have agreed to the following terms and conditions:

  1. I will pay my registration fee ($40) on or before the first day of the sale (December 2, 2017).
  2. I understand that there are a variety of tasks and responsibilities before and during the dates of the sale and that in order to keep the sale registation fee low, I will provide assistance to the sale organizers - see list of volunteer duties.
  3. I understand that those who register early will be given first choice in display space and all of the items that are provided by the AAM and the venue organization (e.g. tables, chairs, free-standing peg display boards and hooks for hanging art, electrical outlet, etc.).
  4. I will not hold the AAM responsible for the loss or damage of any of my art, crafts, products, display racks, table cloths and any other item that I am including in my display space.
  5. I will arrange for my own transportation, set-up and take-down of my items and display space.
  6. I understand that my choices for set up are: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday (December 1, 2017) OR on Saturday (December 2, 2017) beginning at 9:00 a.m.. If I am setting-up on Saturday morning, I will arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before the sale will open to the public (10:00 a.m.). I understand that arriving late for set-up may be disruptive to the sale, vendors and public and therefore the options for late-coming vendors to participate is up to the disgression of AAM.
  7. I will stay to the end of the sale (4:00 p.m. Sat & Sun). If I have to leave the venue during the public hours of the sale, I will make my own arrangements to have my table manned by my own volunteer(s).
  8. I understand that packing-up my items and taking-down my display space during the public hours of the sale may be disruptive to the sale, vendors and public. After the doors are closed to the public on Sunday, December 3rd, I will pack-up as quickly as possible and leave the display space in the same state as it was provided by AAM and the venue organization. I understand that I will be invoiced for the loss or damage of any/all items provided by AAM and the venue organization (see #3).
  9. Refunding of the registration fee for non-participation (e.g. due to illness) or for arriving late (see #6) is up to the disgression of AMA.
  10. I own and/or hold the copyright to all images that I have provided to AAM for use on the website. I understand that my bio may be edited for content, grammar or length.
